Potty Training in the Parsonage is Always an Adventure

As a first born, Little E is getting the brunt of our (or rather my) parenting mistakes. The latest one; it never occured to me that Pull-Ups are not nearly as absorbant as a regular diaper. Being the cheapskate and scatterbrain that I am, I sometimes am not the most diligent diaper changer. So, with this mindset in place, I didn't think twice about not changing Little E's Pull-Up. Besides, changing it is always a hassle since he will usually only wear pull-ups with BOTH Mater and Lightening on them. Thanks to Disney, now even potty time is a marketing scheme.

One day, as I was wasting time on Facebook, Ethan exclaimed, "Mommy, I have to go potty!" When I looked over there was a large wet spot, not on the wood floor, but yes, on the carpet.  In a parsonage with only one carpeted room, the accident had to happen on the carpet.  I guess the Pull-Up didn't hold up. Let's just say, the church trustees will probably allow housebroken animals before they allow pastor's kids.
